Why do people dislike my character on “Breaking Bad”?
THE ACTRESS EFFING WROTE AN ARTICLE ABOUT PEOPLE HATING SKYLAR WHITE FOR BEING MULTI-LAYERED AND BELIEVABLY UPSET AND PROTECTIVE OF HER KIDS AND TRYING TO DO THE BEST SHE CAN WHILE WALTER JUST SPIRALS INTO CRAZY VIA HIS EGO AND NEED FOR POWER.
ALSO, WHO IS GIVING ANNA GUNN HATE FOR PLAYING A CHARACTER ON TELEVISION.
"Vince Gilligan, the creator of “Breaking Bad,” wanted Skyler to be a woman with a backbone of steel who would stand up to whatever came her way, who wouldn’t just collapse in the corner or wring her hands in despair. He and the show’s writers made Skyler multilayered and, in her own way, morally compromised. But at the end of the day, she hasn’t been judged by the same set of standards as Walter."
"But I finally realized that most people’s hatred of Skyler had little to do with me and a lot to do with their own perception of women and wives. Because Skyler didn’t conform to a comfortable ideal of the archetypical female, she had become a kind of Rorschach test for society, a measure of our attitudes toward gender."

Interviewer: How are your kids responding to comics? Are they loving them like you did as a kid?
Frankie Boyle: My boy really loves the comics, he's four. But my daughter, less so. There's just not enough good female characters in comics. There's just not enough comics for girls. And the ones that there are they're just super girly, or they are fucking stereotyped and it's a bit of a male's view of what a girl superhero would be. There's a real gap there for someone to do strong female characters and also more interesting, varied stories with female characters. It's quite hard to find stuff for her.
Interviewer: Is that something you're maybe thinking of doing then? Writing stories for her?
Frankie Boyle: No. I mean, shouldn't a female write those, really? It's just that every industry... they're all too male-dominated. In comedy as well, you know what I mean? People talk about "why is it difficult for female comedians?" Well one of the reasons is that male comedians are fucking cunts to them. It's pretty hard to be a female comedian and travel around a different dressing room every weekend. It's like being in a football team's locker room, it's not actually that encouraging.
The Feynman point is a sequence of six 9s that begins at the 762nd decimal place of the decimal representation of π. It is named after physicist Richard Feynman, who once stated during a lecture he would like to memorize the digits of π until that point, so he could recite them and quip “nine nine nine nine nine nine and so on”, suggesting, in a tongue-in-cheek manner, that π is rational.
